Interview questions customization

After you create an interview (see Creating a new interview), open it from Interviews to edit questions, welcome content, and related settings. The editor uses tabs; names may vary slightly by interview type (for example multi-stage positions).
Avatar interview questions
In the Avatar Interview (or equivalent) section you can:
View the list of questions in candidate order
Reorder questions when the product allows drag-and-drop or move actions
Add questions — new text questions or questions from your library, depending on options shown
Edit each question — wording, type (standard, listening, start screen, etc.), expectations, and other fields in the question editor
Some rules are enforced in the product (for example only one question of certain special types).
Welcome and start screen
Many interviews include a start screen or welcome segment. Configure it according to the interview template and avatar type. If something is missing, the editor usually highlights it before you publish.
Knowledge base interviews
If the interview type is based on a knowledge base, you maintain the knowledge content and questions according to the wizard and editor sections for that type. The wizard step for knowledge base appears only when that interview type is selected.
Scoring and candidate expectations
The interview editor can include scoring or candidate expectations tools (for example generating expectations from your questions). These affect how results are evaluated and displayed. See Interview results and reporting.
Read-only mode
Published or locked interviews may restrict editing. If controls are disabled, check interview status and your permissions.
