What Is an Avatar/Template?

On the platform, you will see references to Avatars/Templates. An avatar/template is a combination of several elements:

• Avatar (visual appearance)

• Voice

• Background, if a transparent avatar or a voice-only template is used, a background is shown behind the UI interface

You can either use the available out-of-the-box templates or create your own custom template.

Creating a Custom Avatar/Template

To create a new template, click the Create custom avatar button.

A simple wizard will guide you through a few steps to customize a template that fits your brand.

Steps

1. Select language
   Choose the language for the template.

   Note: If you want to create two interviews, for example one in English and one in Spanish, you will need to create two separate templates.

2. Select the type of new avatar
   You can choose from the following options:

   • Avatar interactive: used for interactive avatar interviews. If the candidate chooses to turn off the avatar, the interview will continue using the same voice.

   • Voice only: an interactive voice-only template.

   • Avatar non-interactive: a template used to generate a non-interactive interview.

3. Select an avatar
   Choose from:

   • 60 interactive avatars

   • 500+ non-interactive avatars

4. Select a voice
   Available voices will be provided automatically. They are already filtered based on the selected language and the avatar's gender.

   For example, if you change the avatar from male to female in Step 3, the corresponding voices will be offered.

5. Select a background
   If a transparent avatar or a voice-only template is selected, you can choose the background shown behind the avatar, with support for background blur.

And that's it, your template is ready.
