Who can open this page
Subscription & Payments lives under Configuration in the sidebar. It is shown for merchant owners and administrators on accounts that use the interview portal. If you do not see it, your role or plan may not include billing self-service.
Subscription overview
At the top of the page, Subscription overview summarizes your interview subscription. The exact KPI cards depend on your subscription type (for example free, avatar plans, career page, special / post-paid). Typical items include:
Subscription type — the name of your plan in the product
Status — such as active, trial, or canceled (when shown)
Credits — monthly allowance used vs limit, extra interview credits, or single position credits when your plan uses them
Trial until or The current billing cycle will end — dates when applicable
Use the numbers here to see whether you are close to your monthly limit or out of extra credits.
Manage subscription (Stripe)
When your account is on a paid recurring plan and the product shows Manage subscription, that button opens the Stripe customer portal. There you can update payment method, view invoices, and change or cancel the subscription—depending on what Stripe exposes for your contract.
Post-paid (Special) and some other plan types may not show this button; use support instead for contract changes.
Change program or limits (sub-merchants)
If you work under a sub-merchant profile, you may see Change program / limits. That flow lets authorized users request a different program or limit (the modal options match your tenant). This is not shown for every login; it depends on profile and merchant setup.
Tabs below the overview
What you see depends on subscription type and payment history.
Subscribe
For Free, Free verified, trial, or canceled subscriptions on the main merchant (not every host), a Subscribe tab can appear with checkout blocks to choose a paid plan and links such as a credit calculator and questions to support.
Post-paid billing
Special (and Special with limit) customers may see Post-paid billing with a usage-style report. The UI explains submitted interviews vs billable interviews; read the on-page note for how your invoice is built.
Credits usage
Credits usage lists consumed credits (which product feature used each credit and when). Use it to reconcile usage against your plan and exports.
Processed payments
When your account has payment records, Processed payments shows merchant credit and interview subscription charges (newest first).
Purchase additional credits
Lifetime, Career page, Avatar Interviews, Avatar Starter, and Avatar Interviews PRO (main merchant) may see Purchase additional credits with top-up checkout and, for some plans, prompts such as switch to yearly or contact support for volume pricing.
URL tab parameter
You can open a specific tab with a query parameter, for example ?tab=Credits usage, if your deployment documents the exact keys (they match the tab keys in the product).

Questions and answers
Q: We are out of credits but interviews are stuck.

Q: I only see “This sub-merchant requires subscription”.
A: The parent merchant must subscribe or allocate credits; you may be on a sub-merchant that cannot purchase alone.
